Printer Spotlight: Man Sang China

In the competitive world of printing, it’s always good for business if you can push the envelope when it comes to your colour quality management.

After 35 years in the packaging industry, printing bosses at Man Sang Envelope Manufacturing in China were keen to get the edge on their rivals by investing in Mellow Colour’s world-leading colour management technology.

And their investment has certainly paid off. In a short space of time, the factory, based in Dongguan, in Guangdong, China, has achieved impressive audit scores for their print quality management systems and even attained a 100% print score on a recent audit.

Mellow Colour’s colour management consultant partner for China, Meiling Ho, was thrilled to be able to congratulate the Man Sang print team on their induction into our elite Mellow Colour 100 Club.

Mellow Colour 100 Club membership is awarded to ISO 12647 proficient printers that can provide PrintSpec Reports made from recent production print runs that show a score of 100. This means that the company is capable of producing work 100% in compliance with the tight targets and tolerances of the Mellow Colour print quality management system. The scoring system is heavily biased towards grey balance and consistent scoring of 80 is considered excellent by major print procurement companies and brand managers.

Established in 1981, Man Sang specialises in printed materials including stationery, packaging, books, shopping bags and greeting cards.

The company’s vision is to be the most reliable one-stop shop for printed and related paper products – and their recent colour management achievements with Mellow Colour’s printing technology mean they are certainly realising that vision!

Well done to all at Man Sang China.
